What you receive
A healthy, seed-grown salmon desert rose with a firm caudex and a developed root system, packed with a plain-English care card. Packs run from one plant to five.
How to grow it
Desert rose wants sun and grit. Use a free-draining mix — two parts compost to one part perlite — in a Container with a drainage hole. Water thoroughly, then let the soil dry out completely before watering again; in winter, once a month is plenty. Feed with a high-phosphorus fertiliser every two weeks through summer.
It drops its leaves if it gets cold or stays wet. Below 50°F, bring it indoors to a bright window and cut watering right back.

Can I grow it indoors?
Yes, on the sunniest windowsill you have. Without strong light it grows but will not flower.
