What you receive

Each order ships firm, disease-checked cream & red striped amaryllis bulbs, graded for size and packed in a breathable box with a plain-English planting card. Packs run from a single bulb to five — enough to stagger blooms across the winter.

How to plant and grow

Choose a pot only slightly wider than the bulb, with drainage. Set the bulb nose-up with its top third above the compost, water once, and keep it at around 70°F until a green shoot appears. Then move it to the brightest spot you have and water when the top inch of soil dries. A single stem usually carries three to five flowers. After flowering, cut the spent stem but keep the leaves growing — that is what feeds next year’s bulb.
